1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Reload dev, s.r.o. (“Reload”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website beeqeeper.com (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data in general, and our Terms of Use.

The Site is a marketing and information site for the BeeQeeper platform. This policy does not cover the BeeQeeper application itself, which is provided to business customers under a separate agreement and has its own cookie and security documentation.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit it. They are read by the website, or by a third party whose content is embedded in the page, on later visits. Cookies can be first‑party (set by beeqeeper.com) or third‑party (set by another domain, for example an analytics or scheduling provider), and session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).

Similar technologies include browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), pixels and scripts that behave like cookies. In this policy “cookies” refers to all of them.

3. Legal basis and consent

Under Czech law (Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, Section 89(3)) and the EU ePrivacy rules, we may store or read information on your device only with your consent, except where it is strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested. Where cookies process personal data, the GDPR also applies; the legal bases are set out in our Privacy Policy.

When you first visit the Site, a banner informs you about cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you click “Accept” (or close the banner with the ✕ button, which we treat as acceptance). If you do nothing, no optional cookies are set. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in section 6.

4. Cookies we use

The lists below reflect the cookies in use on the Site on the date of this policy. Lifetimes are maximums set by the provider; your browser may delete cookies earlier.

4.1 Strictly necessary

  • user_cookie_consent_beeqeeper_v2 (localStorage, first‑party) — remembers that you have accepted cookies so the banner is not shown again. Lifetime: 12 months.
  • __cf_bm, _cfuvid (cookies, Cloudflare) — bot protection and security for the Site and for embedded services delivered through Cloudflare. Lifetime: up to 30 minutes / session.

4.2 Analytics (with consent)

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location, device type) in aggregated form. Google acts as our processor under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms; IP addresses are truncated/anonymised by Google Analytics 4 by design.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Lifetime: 2 years.
  • _ga_<container‑id> — keeps session state for the Google Analytics property. Lifetime: 2 years.

4.3 Marketing (with consent)

These cookies measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Google, LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook) and may be used by those providers to show you relevant ads on their platforms. They are set only after consent.

  • _gcl_au, _gcl_ls (localStorage), test_cookie — Google Ads / DoubleClick conversion measurement. Lifetime: 90 days (test_cookie: 15 minutes).
  • _fbp — Meta Pixel, identifies browsers for ad measurement. Lifetime: 90 days.
  • bcookie, li_gc, lidc — LinkedIn Insight Tag, ad measurement and LinkedIn’s own consent state. Lifetime: 1 year / 6 months / 1 day.

4.4 Scheduling a demo (Calendly)

When you click “Request Demo” or “Contact Us”, a scheduling window provided by Calendly, LLC opens inside the page. Calendly and its sub‑processors then set their own cookies, which are governed by Calendly’s Cookie Notice. Currently these include:

  • OptanonConsent (calendly.com) — Calendly’s cookie‑consent state. Lifetime: 1 year.
  • __cf_bm, _cfuvid (calendly.com) — Cloudflare security for Calendly. Lifetime: 30 minutes / session.
  • m (m.stripe.com) — fraud prevention for Stripe, Calendly’s payment component; no payment is taken on our Site. Lifetime: 1 year.

These cookies are not set until you open the scheduling window.

5. Cookies we do not use

We do not use cookies to serve advertising on the Site, to sell data, or to track you across unrelated websites for our own purposes. We do not offer newsletters and do not use cookies for email marketing.

6. How to manage or withdraw consent

  • On the Site: to withdraw consent, clear the site data for beeqeeper.com in your browser (this removes the consent record and all first‑party cookies); the banner will appear again on your next visit and no optional cookies will be set unless you accept.
  • In your browser: all common browsers let you block or delete cookies and localStorage, per site or globally. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
  • Provider opt‑outs: Google Analytics opt‑out add‑on, Google Ads settings, Meta ad preferences, LinkedIn guest controls.

7. Third‑party providers and international transfers

Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn Corporation, Calendly, LLC and Stripe, Inc. are established in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details of each provider’s processing are available in their own privacy notices.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when we add, remove or change cookies on the Site. The current version is always published on this page with a new “Updated” date. Where a change requires new consent, the banner will be shown again.
